苹果此次测试的2亿像素传感器可能由三星提供，实现更精准、苹果正在对2亿像素的图像传感器进行测试，此次升级至2亿像素，快速的对焦效果。预计将首次将其用于iPhone的主摄像头。使图像传感器的所有像素均可实现自动对焦功能。从而在不同光线环境下提升成像质量。在每个像素下增加传输门结构，其中以三星Galaxy S系列为代表，有助于减少过曝现象并改善色彩还原，在安卓平台，HP2还引入了Super QPD自动对焦技术，目前在售的iPhone 16系列主摄为4800万像素，其最新款旗舰机型便搭载了型号为HP2的2亿像素主摄。
